What is a “Z” Cake?

Also known as a “zipper” cake, the “z” cake uses a firing pattern in which rows of tubes are shot from one side to the other and back again, alternating directions each row. The tubes in a row generally angle outward from the center, producing a zig-zag pattern in the sky.
