Shooting Fireworks in Dry Conditions

NewsTopics_html_m1dae786f

When grass and fields are dry, shooting fireworks can be a risk. With dry grass and high winds, a fire can get out of hand quickly. Before shooting fireworks, check with your local municipality to make sure that there is no ban on shooting fireworks due to dry conditions. Whether shooting in dry conditions or ideal conditions, a precaution you should always take is to keep a hose, fire extinguisher, or bucket(s) of water nearby just in case a small fire would ignite. After a firework has been shot, douse it thoroughly with water because it can keep smoldering for some time. Also, keep a phone handy just in case you would have an emergency.
